on the Road Again

I had this professionally installed, and it has worked exactly as intended the two times I’ve used it—both in areas where I typically get no coverage with AT&T. I’m looking forward to seeing how it performs on longer road trips. I also added a spring to help protect the antenna when driving through brush. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who spends time outdoors or takes frequent road trips.

The device was so easy to use and set up. I had some confusion with the internet but the customer service was amazing. They even provided an extension cable so quickly for the RV. Was not sure about this device but I decided to try it instead of another popular one I saw. We had no bars or sometimes 1/2. Could not do anything because there was no cell tower. I was able to use the internet to get something’s done. It is small enough to use and put away (photo). The customer service was truly amazing. I first thought it was a strange (the follow up and text to make sure it was all go). They sent me updates and asked if i needed any further assistance. They were so helpful and amazing. I am an avid outdoorsman and overlanding enthusiast. This booster is awesome, it works great and definitely helps us when camping in the sticks with minimal service. It’s well built, looks good and customer service was awesome as well. I definitely recommend this to anyone in need of a booster.

The Explorer X is well made, easy to install and works well. Firstly, booster and antenna components appear high quality (doesn't "feel" or "look" cheap). The kit comes with everything you need and is pretty straightforward. I did have to get creative when mounting the antenna due to the shape of my roof rails -- so your install experience may vary. In terms of performance in the real world, the booster works well. From my tests, I observed anywhere between one to two additional bars in areas with very low signal coverage. But as expected, it does not net you signal if there isn't any existing coverage, so please keep that in mind. FWIW, it's a great addition to my rig and will take any improvement in signal as opposed to none.

I purchased and installed the Hiboost cell phone booster antenna on my patrol unit that I use while patroling the descilate southwest border, where cell service is scarce. I am truly impressed with how well this system works.
I was contacted by Noah with costumer service just to checkin on how the Hibooster cell booster was working for us. I was extremely surprised that I was being contacted randomly by Hiboost customer service just to make sure there product was preforming well. I did mention a minor problem with my antenna mount that needed replacement. Noah was quick to respond and send the new part the same day.

I installed the HiBoost before a 3 week trip that took us through some very remote areas in Virginia. I had the cell booster on almost then entire time and was able to keep in contact with my family when cell service was near non-existent. I wasn't streaming Netflix movies but for me this wasn't the point...I got the cell booster to be able to make calls and texts and keep in touch while off-grid.

A couple things to note:
1) if you are ever planning going off-road, the ability to flip down the antenna was super crucial to avoid damage. I also kept the antenna down while on the highway as it wasn't needed
2) keep the inside antenna as far away as the outside antenna as possible. I mounted the outside antenna on the farthest point back passenger side of my roof-rack with the inside antenna up front near the center console. This worked well to prevent loop-back
3) turn it on/off when you are at camp...this helps to prevent draining your car battery
4) for best results, keep your phone as close to the inside antenna as possible...I found it best to leave my phone on the center console, close to the antenna and then use wireless headphones to make phone calls.
5) it only works if there is a cell signal...no cell signal, no way to boost it.

I am an Independent OTR Trucker, many places that I travel have limited cellular service. This makes it difficult to book loads, tracking, loading/unloading fee payments, etc. I installed this unit in my 379 Peterbilt on the left mirror bracket with included hardware. I routed the wire through the bracket and door into the dashboard laying the unit on the floor in front of the gearshift. (Temporary until I made sure that it would work. The interior antenna I stuck on the underside of the dashboard facing the sleeper. Full service so far everywhere I have been. LOVE IT !

I went from one bar to 4 bars with much better downloads and uploads, basically more than tripled. Great customer service, helping me with set up, trouble shooting and understanding numbers. Thank you!

Previously barely reached 5mb in download speeds. I had bought a cheaper option but couldn’t get a strong signal. I believe the combination of the app and tools they provide to find towers, helped me maximize the signal strength. Super happy!

I live in a heavily wooded area in south Mississippi. To make matters worse, we have a metal roof. This translates to extremely poor service. We have dealt with poor reception for years and never could have imagined how easy and effective a booster like this would be..
I mounted it on an existing pole we use for our outdoor TV antenna. I ran the cables through our attic to centralize the booster in the house. The indoor antenna is mounted about seven feet away in the middle of our living room.
Cell reception is noticeably better throughout the house - But especially in the living room. I conducted multiple speed tests before and after.
Before the booster:
Download Speed: 0.5 - 0.75 mbps
Upload Speed: ~0.1 - 0.15 mbps
After the booster:
Download Speed: Ranges anywhere from 9 to 12 mbps
Upload Speed: ~1 to 1.5mbps.
This speed test mat not sound impressive but it's a night and day difference in terms of performance.
10/10 - This thing works! Plus it's on Prime so what do you have to lose? I would highly recommend it if you've been living and dealing with poor reception.

Hello everyone! I work as a truck driver all over the USA and there is not always a good mobile signal, even for Verizon. But with this amplifier I am always in touch. I tested it in the mountains and the desert. So I recommend it to all my colleagues! As for the seller, he is very responsive and sociable

We are in a near dead cell zone with 0-1 bars. This booster increased the signal to 3-4 bars. Obviously, when the cell signal drops to 0 there is no signal to boost. Noah did a great job walking me through the whole process to get the best result possible. Thanks Noah!

I bought this signal booster so we can have signal while traveling in the mountains in Colorado and it worked great we had signal the entire trip from DFW to Dillon Colorado with no problems . I would highly recommend just be sure to distance the 2 antennas so you won’t run in to any feedback issues . I would also would like the address the customer service which is great even texted me on my way on our trip to ask if everything was working properly.
