HiBoost Travel 3.0 RV Cellular Signal Booster

Works, but not much better than a $100 unit. Only get a decent boost when right on inside antenna. Would be nice to have a directional antennae included, may give better signal.

After we started traveling full time in our rv,we quickly realized we needed something to improve cell signal. This has made a difference, and when we had questions or needed tech support they were quick to respond to help.

I had ordered the wrong antenna. Emailed the company and the support I received was unbelievable. Not used to that service in this day and age. Totally rectified MY mistake and followed up even after they sent the part I needed to make sure everything was working.

We were looking for a way to improve our cellular signal in campgrounds with low signal strength. Understanding that one needs a reasonable signal to start with, I combined my purchase of a HiBoost booster for RV with a Yagi directional antenna on a telescoping 20’ flagpole (I bought an extra SMA to N cable to connect to the Yagi to the HiBoost). After initial installation, I moved the indoor antenna around to find the best operational location. It's best practice to keep the indoor (transmitting) antenna as far away from the outdoor (receiving) to achieve the best results. The outdoor is located at the top of the 20' pole at the front of the coach and the transmitting is mid coach about a foot off the floor on a wall. In testing at home in my RV using my cell phone and an internet speed checker, I went from 5MB Download and .02 MB upload to 20MB Down and 5 MB up using the HiBoost. Pretty amazing improvement. I used the weBoost app to determine direction of the nearest cell tower. We will be camping late November in one of the more cell challenged campgrounds we've visited and I'll report back once we've had some some real world testing. A big shout out to Noah of the HiBoost support team who proactively followed up with me soon after purchase via text and has been very helpful and engaged.

My husband and I are campers and we like to stay at state parks, which are beautiful places but often very remote. We have struggled with finding solutions for reliable cell service. We have spent hundreds of dollars on other products that just didn’t work. This product has worked well for us at all of the places we have been in so far. I do appreciate the excellent customer service as well. We highly recommend this product!
